Bus Driver on Cell Phone - Wait Time 6-10 minutes

Description

The Bus Driver of SOUTHBOUND #28 (Bus #C12) decided to stall at the intersection of Weldon Avenue & Wishon Avenue for 6-10 minutes to take a personal phone call on his cell phone; he discussed and laughed about his weekend plans with a friend, and discussed his Facebook profile page while a very full bus waited. He then pulled into the intersection and began to drive down the route WHILE STILL ON HIS CELL PHONE.

Being already late in arrival, we did not reach downtown until at least 15 minutes after the scheduled time. There was no apology or acknowledgement by the driver. If you see him -- long dreadlocks, black hat with visor -- don't bother taking the bus: call a taxi or walk.
