Trash on board, route dirty 30

Description

Could the city please do something about the trash and litter on the buses? Other than that I enjoyed the ride back and forth to work. Today I was on Route 30 and when I got on I noticed that the entire bus was littered with newspapers, soda pop cans, and one beer bottle. I also noticed that the driver allowed an intoxicated person to sleep in the back of the bus propped up against the back window.

When I instructed the driver that this is an unsafe manner he simply said it is not my problem, all I have to do is look forward and I don't look behind me to see the trash that I'm dealing with. This is why we call this route the dirty 30.

Could someone please tell me in dealing with this matter at hand. Majority of our drivers that drive our system are very pleasant to deal with I've only run into a handful that I wish were sitting in the passenger seat so that they can be part of the trash that they are hauling.

I've noticed that some of the drivers do not care about their appearance I noticed today a driver with his shirt tucked out wearing white tennis shoes and was reading the newspaper as he was traveling down the street. I must say he is an extreme multitasker to read the newspaper and was able to keep the bus under control however I do feel that this is a safety concern that the city of Fresno needs to address immediately.
