Like your review. I would agree with how fast the movie ended. Maybe it wasn't because they would but because they had to budget time. The ending scene was a major shock. Seeing how it didn't look as if they got their true love back.

Tears fill my eyes as I read this article about your younger sister. Believe it or not it also gives me the strength and shines a light on my own motivations and my own life. The strength of a child is unbelievably touching in so many different ways. Sometimes, we as adults tend to make mountains out of molehills, but to know or to witness a child who has barely gotten the chance to live life fight so hard for it...is incredible. It makes my own worries seem small. I pray that your family continues to be well and stays that way. You are a tough individual and can withstand anything that may possibly come your way. Stay blessed.

I really enjoyed reading your story and what you had to say about your uncle. I'm sad that you have to endure the grief that comes from knowing that you don't get the same amount of time to spend with him as other nieces and nephews do. But the thing is, they don't know how to appreciate what they have as much as you do. You should be thankful that you had the chance to learn how to appreciate your time with family even if you have to learn it the hard way. -Sometimes that's how life works. No particular explanation, but in the end, it's all worth the while.

The same thing happened to me although it wasn't a school rule my peers and even friends would comment on them everytime i wore them, even some teachers would comment. People would ask me if my jeans were ripped because i was working the corner. Soon after people said my jeans were ripped because i'd been on my knee's to much. I;d acually been branded as the school slut because i had rips in my jeans. People can be insane :P

I've actually seen police violence first hand as my neighbors in the kb homes housing area were assaulted by officers in late 2007 over a simple noise complaint while unarmed n even semi cooperative but more than 15 officers showed up

I would have to say that even minimal cases of police using excessive violence is too much. However, I can't imagine being faced with those decisions every day. When there's an equal chance that the guy running from you can just be confused or planning to take hostages, you have to make a tough choice. This isn't to say that resorting to extreme measures is justified. It's easy to look at any of the examples of violence after the fact and know if it was justified or not. This is why the usual standards for police officers is set so high. Unfortunately, bad cops are there and seem to hold themselves above the law. This doesn't mean that there isn't good officers out there trying to make a change for the better.

great job on the writing piece, im not bashing the writing piece, but many youths or adults who are involved with gang violence or harm others are just plain stupid. many families cry for ones child that passes away due to violence, but i know its difficult for some folks to get away from gangs, but if your brother or sister never joined a gang, then you never face gang violence, when i hear about deaths that youth die from gang violence, its a shame because i already know that they are involved in gangs, and for those who are innocents and die to gang violence, dude, you were at the wrong time at the wrong place idiot, if you know in areas where there are gangs, walk a different path even if it costs you a lot of time to get there.

stupid cops think they have all the power in the cities, the government or mayor have the power, but they take it to the next level and think superior, which is stupid, i hate cops and always will, i never liked cops, they always be stopping you for no reason in the streets when driving a car. they are always finding ways to take away ones car and we never do anything, we are driving safe, no using any electronics and they just pull you over and discriminate one. it's rude. i don't find cops heroes, i find them villains.
