Songs grow old
People do too.
Soda gets cold
After marching in the blue.
Movies show drama
Like a house under water.
My eyes grow weary
After seeing you fall each hour.
Your mind gets lost
Each time someone leaves.
Your heart shuts down
After you fall asleep.
My love gets strong
Each time you close your eyes.
So lets write a poem
To make this sound right.
And maybe make a song
After Romeo and Juliet move on….
